The brighter Redact API can be used to automatically protect personally identifiable information (faces, persons, license plates) in images and videos.

Deep Natural Anonymization (DNAT)

Our Deep Natural Anonymization technology replaces faces and license plates with synthetic overlays, safeguarding personal identities from automated recognition systems while maintaining data value for machine learning and analytics purposes.

Key Features:

Face Generation:

  • Synthetic faces are randomly generated and do not exist in the real world.
  • Critical facial attributes such as line of sight, facial expression, age, gender, and ethnicity are accurately preserved to ensure data usability.

License Plate Generation:

  • Vehicle license plates are replaced with newly generated synthetic plates.
  • Region-specific customization: Depending on the continent and region, our license plate generators adapt to local formats, ensuring authentic-looking replacements that comply with the standards of each country.

Precision Blur (Blur)

Precision Blur is brighter AI's advanced redaction solution. License plates are blurred precisely at the corner points and faces are protected with an oval blur.

Usage options

We offer two flexible options for deploying our solution:

Brighter Redact Online:

The simplest way to utilize our solution is through the cloud, offering seamless connectivity via API or a web-based UI. This option requires zero hardware, server infrastructure, or maintenance costs, and is delivered on European servers to ensure full flexibility, cost efficiency, and GDPR compliance.

Trial-Account via Portal

  • To quickly and easily test our solution, we recommend creating a trial account. Simply register using your company’s official business email to receive 14 days of free access to our cloud platform. Access the platform through our intuitive web interface, or use the provided API key with the redact-client SDK for integration.

API-Key

  • After contacting us, you can request an API key to connect directly to our servers. You can access the service through the redact-client SDK, our web interface, or via direct REST API calls. Additional information is available in the Brighter Redact Online Tab.

Brighter Redact Enterprise:

For organizations requiring full control, we offer an on-premises deployment, ensuring compliance with even the most stringent data security standards. With this option, your data never leaves your data center, and our solution is delivered via Docker containers for easy setup and management. We provide three on-premises deployment options:

Simple Docker compose:

  • Available on GitHub as Redact-enterprise-orchestration, this setup includes two containers for easy maintenance and deployment on a single machine. It is fully customizable to align with the machine’s specifications and capabilities.

Edge Deployment:

  • Designed specifically for edge scenarios, this option supports CPU-only ARM and x86 platforms, embedded neural engines, and NVIDIA Jetson devices for lightweight and efficient operation.

Kubernetes-Cluster:

  • Offered with an onboarding service from brighter AI, this option allows for scalability across hundreds of machines. It supports Azure, AWS, and other cloud platforms through an infrastructure-as-code architecture, ensuring flexibility and efficiency.
